I pronounced Voldermort “Valdermeert” because when I read the first Harry Potter I was a jackass who saw a long word and assumed the worst. 7 year old me said, “Her-mee-oh-knee” until the movies came out. But then again, I pronounced a whole slew of words wrong for a long time. ESL~
